Today is a big day in the tech landscape at Toronto’s Public Service as we recognized departments who are utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in improving public services.
I congratulate the recipients of the inaugural Mayor’s AI awards. These awards recognized four City-led initiatives that demonstrate how the thoughtful use of technology can strengthen service delivery, improve efficiency, and make everyday interactions with the City simpler and accessible.
I stand committed to the City’s vision of advancing innovation in a responsible, transparent, and people-centred way. With AI, we can devise ways to serve our residents better and holding authorities accountable for their services, while still ensuring that we continue to support our public service sector.
