HIGHLAND CREEK

Neighbourhood Week Highlights

Local Neighbourhood Association:

Highland Creek Community Association (HCCA)

The Highland Creek Community Association (HCCA) was formed in 1980 through the merger of east and west community groups and incorporated in 1984. It is a volunteer-led group that works to preserve, improve, and represent the Highland Creek community. The HCCA advocates on local issues like development, transit, and planning at all levels of government.

HCCA keeps residents informed through The Villager newsletter, published four times a year. It also brings people together by organizing and supporting events such as the Highland Creek Heritage Festival, Spring Clean-up, Pumpkin Parade, and Winter Festival of Lights.

Furthermore, volunteers help maintain shared spaces, support local initiatives, and contribute to the overall well-being and connection of the neighbourhood.
