IN THE COMMUNITY
Help shape a new dog off-leash area in West Rouge
The City is working with the community to create a new fenced-in dog off-leash area along Lawrence Ave E near Starspray Blvd. Take the online survey to help shape this space for our community’s pups and their people.
Rise for Jamaica
Together with our community partner, the Jamaican Canadian Association, we held a donation drive for the people of Jamaica as they recover from the devastation of Hurricane Melissa.
Thank you to Principal Andrew Peacock from St. Mother Teresa Catholic Academy and Vice Principal Dargine Rajeswaran from Lester B Pearson C.I. for their schools’ generous donations. We also commend the relief coordination efforts of the Consulate General of Jamaica – Donna Fanfair, and Dr Hugh Simmonds.
